I wanted my locs trimmed for quite a while. I contemplated getting it done and finally decided to do it. I was recommended to get it done at The Look Salon. I’m glad I did. Not only am I pleased with the results, the process was wonderful. Friendly service, thoughtful touches in the salon- coffee, water and snacks and just an overall great atmosphere. I highly recommend The Look Salon.

Visited once as my reoccurring stylist, Brittany, became a new stylist there. The salon was clean, neat, and the owner was very friendly. I loved the experience & the opportunity to use Cecred products for the first time while there. Also pretty cool they offer membership services! In the future I may get one to see how well it’ll benefit me. Overall, great establishment!

Kathy has amazing attention to detail and really took her time doing nano hairstrokes on my brows. I was nervous because I didn’t want my brows to look super dark. My hair is dark blond/light brown, and at first my brows were a lot darker but they faded to look much more natural. I’m going for a touch up, but this is what they look like 2 weeks after the appointment. I’d highly recommend Kathy if you’re looking for someone to do your brows!

This is my first time at Van Michael Salon and I was greeted warmly by the front desk and offered tea/coffee. I was then greeted by my stylist and discussed what I had in mind. Meron was an amazing stylist and I was able to get a fresh haircut for the Spring!

Had a great experience and definitely going back. I told my husband I was holding off on a wax after we moved from out of state, as I was so nervous to find just the right person. I finally had to take the dive and decided to find somewhere with convenient scheduling. Maria was incredible, in skill and as a human. She talked, laughed, and made me feel at ease the whole time. Cute facility, complementary drink, good service, and good company. Do it!

My mom and I went to Jolie for a spa manicure. It was a wonderful night out! Maria and Diana were kind, courteous, and professional. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. And our nails look gorgeous. Absolutely recommend!

Edit: 03/30 Denise and Melanie both reached out to make this right for me, so I'm updating the review from 4* to 5*! I will leave the original review as is, so people are able to read it still - but nothing but praise for the overall service and how they handled this quickly and professionally. I'm really appreciative that both of them took the time to personally reach out and see how they could make it right. ----- I have mixed feelings about my experience; the work itself was stellar. Melanie was delightful, and she worked magic with my hair. She is fun to talk to and so detail oriented, and it truly shows in the care she placed in her work. The final result (extra time full highlights + a single process color ends refresh) was fantastic. However, please be aware of the time and pricing transparency... I was originally quoted $330 during my consultation, but my final total at the desk was $435. I wasn't made aware at any time that this cost was changing or anything was being added on. I noticed on the end receipt that Olaplex was added in as $50 - while I appreciate the care for my hair health, I wasn't consulted about this add-on or extra cost beforehand. Because I didn’t have the initial consultation quote in writing from the salon, I didn’t feel I could easily dispute the overall cost, and the services were already done as well... but it was a quite shock to be $100+ over the expected price for what I had budgeted. After tip and the credit card fee, the total came to almost $200 more than the initial quotation. Additionally, the service took six hours (2:30 PM to 8:30 PM). I wasn't made aware the time commitment needed and mentally estimated 4/4.5 hours at most for highlights and ends refresh from how my hair appointments typically go (7/8 hours for a full head double process). Melanie was incredibly dedicated; she even stayed past closing to ensure my hair was perfectly blow-dried and didn't rush the process. I just wish the booking came with a time estimate, so I could have planned my evening accordingly since I had dinner plans with friends that I couldn't make on time. I highly recommend Melanie’s talent and ability, but I’d suggest confirming the price and duration in writing from consultation and again before starting the actual process.

I was referred to KC Aesthetics by a friend and I’m so glad I tried it. This is my second time getting Brazilians done with Kimberly and I have had the best experiences! She is very detailed and makes the experience super comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a new waxer. She changed the way my 🐱 looks.
