After our dad passed away, our mom needed to decide if she was going to stay in their home or relocate to a senior living community. After many tours and much conversation about the pros and cons of both, mom decided on Brightview Crofton Riverwalk. A charter member, she moved to Brightview in December 2019 and has not looked back! Everything that was shared with us about Brightview has come true! Mom has made many new friends and reconnected with old friends. She participates in the varied and numerous activities, themed dinners and events and informational sessions. As a Brightview ambassador, she helps new residents feel comfortable and informed as they transition to their new home. The residents exchange phone numbers with each other, text one another and truly look out for each other. Along with the bright and cheery physical environment that is always beautifully decorated for the seasons and holidays, the staff is phenomenal! From Donna’s welcoming face at the concierge desk to Phillip’s amazing meals and special events to the many times Craig has waved across the room or stopped to chat when we are visiting with mom, the Brightview staff goes above and beyond to create and maintain a lovely environment for the residents. Choosing to move to Brightview Senior Living is truly the best decision mom could have made. She is genuinely thriving, surrounded by wonderful friends and a staff that feels like family. If you or your loved one are looking for a place to truly call home, we cannot recommend it highly enough.

I have lived at Brightview Crofton Riverwalk for six and a half years. I have enjoyed exercise classes, music, movies, lectures, painting classes, special events, outings, meals and the library. Sales Director, Craig Wowkanyn asked me to be an ambassador to help new residents acclimate themselves to their new home. This has made me feel like I am part of the wonderful living experience here.

My parents moved into Brightview Riverwalk in July 2024, as my mom was rapidly declining with dementia. We thought it would be a good way to keep them together as we navigated this next phase with her. My mom's health deteriorated quickly, and the professionals in both Independent Living and Wellspring Village were amazing with our family. After my mom passed in March 2025, we realized even more that moving my dad to Brightview was the best decision we ever made. Because he is still independent, sharp, and capable, he now has a ready-made social network to fill his days. He participates in many activities, including happy hour, themed dinners, bingo, and ambassadors. We describe his life at Brightview as "living at the resort," or "riding on the cruise ship that never moves." Thank you to all the staff at Brightview who have made this transition so smooth and fulfilling for my dad.

I live in New Zealand and visited my mom in the memory care unit a few weeks ago. So I got to spend a lot of time - around 4 hours/day for five days - at Brightview. Frankly I was lucky to have had the opportunity to spend so much time visiting my mom (mum in NZ) at Brightview. My sister who lives in the area and organised Brightview had given me high expectations (she's very thorough :). Well I was quite surprised by everything I experienced. The facility - sharp, clean, so much sunlight and in/outside flow, all the common areas - couldn't have hoped for more. But it was the people at Brightview that were truly outstanding. At a personal level they were incredibly kind but also a bit firm when necessary (my mum can be prickly and difficult haha). And then all the interactions I had with like 6-8 different staff members (director people, people cleaning, gardening, the lovely receptionist) were also amazing, respectful and seemed happy to be there too :) Ive overseen customer service at a lot of companies so have a keen lens, Brightview is tops. Most importantly my mum is happy. I really can't recommend Brightview Great Falls enough. (And thanks so much to Monica and all of you at Brightview, for everything :)

My Mother has been a resident of Brightview since this past April and is over the moon with her experience so far. She was very apprehensive as most people are entering a new phase of her life. From management all the way to the cleaning staff everyone has made her time at Brightview the most enjoyable experience possible. The staff is extremely friendly and most importantly happy to be there. My siblings and I have a hard time contacting my Mother since she is so busy everyday with her activities, therapy and visiting her many friends within the community. If we could give it 10 stars we would!

Visit soon! This brand new residence is an enjoyable and new Fairfax City community. You meet well-travelled and kind residents as well as attentiv associates to talk to. I especially appreciate this new location close to Old Town Fairfax, and the brand new architecture and layout of this building, Brightview Northfax offers beautiful living space and amenities. It offers a harmonious modern, bright, inviting atmosphere. Everyone at this location contributes to creating a pleasant, vibrant community.

Had a wonderful tour of Brightview Greenburgh! The model apartments are beautiful, and the entire team was welcoming, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all of my questions. It’s clear they have a great team in place and are focused on creating a warm, engaging experience. This senior living community is a wonderful addition to White Plains and Westchester County!

My dad lived at Brightview for over six years, with the last three years in the enhanced care community. He was extremely well cared for, far exceeding any expectations. Lisa and her dedicated staff are truly amazing and I was thankful every day for their support, many of them felt like family to us during this time. Arlington is lucky to have such a wonderful option in the community.

Brightview Dulles Corner is an outstanding senior living community with an impressive range of amenities and services. The modern and up to date environment is eye catching and contributes to the welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Literally all levels of management and staff genuinely care about the residents and continually go above and beyond expectations to make everyone feel they are among family and friends. Also very noticeable is how attentive and effective the maintenance and housekeeping staff has been in ensuring the overall building and apartments maintain their new, clean and vibrant look. A major element contributing to the quality of life is the culinary and dining services team. They are without a doubt the best. In addition to providing a dining room environment that resembles a high end restaurant they offer a varied menu with many choices that include gluten free, vegetarian and healthy daily specials. Residents also enjoy the flexibility of choosing dining times or selecting a meal to go for either pick up or delivery. While numerous activities, outings and function’s are offered daily a clear favorite is the always well attended complimentary Happy Hour where beer, wine and other beverages are offered and provides an inviting “Pub” atmosphere to socialize with fellow residents and guests. Brightview Dulles Corner should not be missed in your search for an exceptional senior living community.

My dad moved into Brightview’s memory ward over 2 years ago. He was recovering from a broken hip and was in a bad place with his mental and physical health. Moving to Brightview was the best decision our family has made. My mom would go see my dad almost everyday, and the staff were so kind to them both. When my mom passed away earlier this year, they comforted us and cried with us. The Director of Brightview, Shaina Smith, is an incredibly hard working, detail oriented, and kind leader. She’s more like a saint than a person to our family. My dad is a loner and has been depressed since we lost our mom, and Shaina has made it her mission to not let him suffer alone. She not only was able to get him to smile, she got him to be involved in organized events, and even got him to go on a field trip! Never would I imagine this level of engagement from my dad and then I see him on the cover of Brightview’s newsletter! (He’s the white haired Viet man in the bottom right.) Brightview has been a blessing. We are so grateful for the amazing Shaina, her caring team, and Brightview!

Brightview Northfax is a beautiful senior living community. The staff are consistently kind, compassionate, and attentive, treating every resident with dignity and respect. There are times in life when you have to make one of the hardest decisions you'll ever face—finding a place where someone you love will spend the final chapter of their life. Our family was blessed to find Brightview Dulles Corner. The building is beautiful, the food is excellent, and the activities are wonderful, but what truly makes Brightview exceptional is its people. Every member of the team—from the nurses and caregivers to housekeeping, dining, activities, reception, maintenance, and leadership—treated our mother, Marilyn, with genuine kindness, dignity, and love. They didn't simply care for a resident; they took the time to know her as a person. She was never just another room number or another task to complete. She was Marilyn. What impressed us most was that this wasn't the kindness of one special caregiver—it was the culture of the entire community. Everyone shared the same commitment to treating residents as individuals, understanding that each person has their own story, personality, and needs. That kind of culture starts with great leadership and extends throughout the entire staff. The greatest gift Brightview gave our family was peace of mind. Every time we left after a visit, we knew our mother remained surrounded by people who genuinely cared about her. That kind of trust is priceless. Even after our mother passed away, several members of the Brightview family attended her Celebration of Life. They didn't come because they had to—they came because they truly cared about Marilyn and about our family. That simple act of kindness spoke volumes about the people who work there. Our mother spent her life caring for others. Seeing that same compassion returned to her during the final chapter of her life is something we will always treasure.
