Stellar service from a great shop! I live in Texas and have never even stepped foot in Orange County. I promise I'm a real customer, though - read on. Steven and I connected via Reddit (of all places) as I had posted a question about swapping out prescription lenses for blue light lenses after having LASIK surgery. He offered to do it, and something in my gut told me to trust this random Reddit account. I'm glad I did. Steven walked me through the whole process via DMs and text. He was super responsive and friendly throughout, and I was surprised when his pricing was competitive with the online services I had researched. I felt much better about supporting a small business, and after reading reviews about New Specs, I decided to go for it. It was nice to be able to talk to a real person and get detailed answers to my questions, rather than wait hours or days for a response from some big box company. I ended up sending 4 frames. Three were turned into blue light lenses and one became a new pair of sunglasses. I covered the cost of shipping to California, and New Specs covered the shipping back. I am so happy my trusty glasses are getting a new life post-LASIK! As an extra cherry on top, I learned Steven is Asian American (as am I) and started this shop to make optician services more accessible to our community. I feel even better having supported an Asian-owned business. All in all, A+ service!

Outstanding service. I was surprised how fast my glasses were made to my specifications. I was struggling finding someone/location who will make sun glasses to my new prescription specs, other places like LensCrafters couldn’t do. I was referred by a tech at LensCrafters to reach out to New Specs Optical, former employee opened his own business and with a positive and friendly attitude. I have a high prescription and my optometrist recommended Varilux progressives for my vision problems. Originally, my optometrist’s price was way too high, went to Costco but they didn’t offer that line and then went to Lenscrafters but was rejected because my prescription was too high for them to make. Luckily, Steven was able to fulfill my high prescription and I got my glasses back within a week. Extremely happy with the results. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend! Will absolutely come back!

Steven was absolutely amazing! My old glasses broke and I was in a bind. He took care of me and I got a brand new pair of RayBan Sunglasses with my new prescription in a matter of 5 days! I have been seeing Dr. Dahnoun at See More Eye Care for a couple of years now, and I always have a fantastic experience. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and responsive from the moment you walk in. Dr. Dahnoun is highly knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely cares about his patients.
