Six Blades is an amazing place to train and learn jiu-jitsu. World class instruction. The curriculum is structured for world class athletes as well as the complete beginners. The instructors are welcoming and immediately make you feel part of the team. I have been training here for almost a year now. I recently re-injured myself ( an old, non jiu-jitsu injury) and had to sit out for a while. They stayed in touch with me to check on my progress, and were very encouraging and understanding. When I came back, they made sure that I took it easy and made sure to see that I was safe when I came back on the mats and was recovering properly. I highly recommend Six Blades as a excellent place to train no matter who you are and where you are in your jiu-jitsu journey

Professor Andrew understands how children learn (with patience and encouragement, to start) and commands respect without fear. He is absolutely amazing! I love how warm and welcoming this studio is. The education is not limited to martial arts skills: children learn independence, self control, teamwork, support and love for your neighbor. Passion and commitment are never in question. I only wish we had found this studio earlier. Thank you, Studio NPR!

I took the intro offensive course (8 classes over a month for about $160) and it was beyond my expectations. Anthony is an amazing instructor who focuses on a solid foundation and blueprint across the four major positions, rather than confusing you with too many moves. The classes are small, safe, and have a great community vibe. Anthony makes sure to avoid high-risk submissions so everyone stays safe. After a month, my confidence in self-defense has skyrocketed and I feel equipped to handle myself on the ground. Highly recommend Kata Jiu-Jitsu!

World class instruction led by the legendary Xande Ribeiro and a stable of world class champions that follow his lead. Multiple locations and classes to fit all schedules and skill. I would recommend to all.

I've been training at Black Diamond Jiu-Jitsu for the past two and a half years, and it has become a huge part of our family's life. Not only do I train here, but all of my kids do as well. The coaching staff does an outstanding job creating an environment that is both welcoming and challenging. The adult program offers multiple class times throughout the day, making it easy to fit training into a busy schedule. They also offer MMA training, which has been a ton of fun! What really stands out is the kids program. The instructors are patient, knowledgeable, and do a great job building confidence, discipline, respect, and work ethic in the kids while keeping classes fun and engaging. With kids classes offered throughout the week, it's easy for families to stay consistent with training. Whether you're looking to compete, learn self-defense, get in shape, or simply be part of a great community, I can't recommend Black Diamond Jiu-Jitsu enough. The coaching, culture, and people make it an incredible place to train.

I have been to every Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gym in the tri-cities and this one is the most welcoming by far. Knowledgeable instructors, friendly members, an overall great place. If you’re interested in trying Jiu-Jitsu, I highly recommend Fenrir Jiu-Jitsu Academy.

We are beyond grateful for everything Coach has done for our family, especially for my son Sebastian. Since joining, we have seen such an incredible difference in him not only in jujutsu, but in his everyday life as well. Sebastian is on the autism spectrum, and Coach has shown him nothing but patience, understanding, encouragement, and consistency every single step of the way. Sebastian has become more patient, more focused, and much more consistent when it comes to completing tasks and staying engaged in activities. Watching him grow in confidence and discipline has truly been emotional and inspiring for us as parents. Coach creates an environment where every child feels supported, valued, and capable, no matter their challenges. My younger son has also grown tremendously here. He has learned how to stand up for himself, keep up with the bigger kids, and never limit himself because of his age or height. The confidence, strength, and determination that both of my boys are developing is something I will forever appreciate. This is so much more than just a martial arts program — it’s a place where children build confidence, discipline, respect, and belief in themselves. We could not recommend this coach enough.
