Great staff, good pizza, and the best ice cream ever! I am a first time pull behind camper. I was able to call this KOA location and they informed me they had a waiting list, but most of the people did not seen in the pictures of your camper that is required by KOA. Just a few outside photos is all they need. It’s to make sure there is no unsafe camper onsite that could be way too old, or not in proper order to be at this location. They have a nice laundry room and great prices in their store for your camping supplies. They keep the place in nice condition, and willing to help you get set up. Definitely referring this place to others that I travel with on these year long projects who also have campers. Not to mention, great rental rates much pool, rental-able peddle carts and pet friendly with a fenced in area for dogs to run around in.

We weren’t sure booking online but it was fabulous. Clean and convenient to everything. D1 people watching and walkable to most things. The pool was fun and the snow cones were on point! Had so much fun and planning another trip as soon as the summer beach crazies slow down. The pup in the office was so well behaved and sweet.

We have stayed at the location twice now, and it is so pleasant, welcoming, and clean. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I love that we can do a towel exchange every day. Nothing like clean towels after a long beach day.

This is the best RV campground we’ve never stayed at. We actually live in Charlottesville so we use Misty Mountain on our way home to dump our tanks or refill our propane. Today we inadvertently left on a trip without filling our freshwater tank so we pulled off at Misty Mountain to fill freshwater there. They were so welcoming and so hospitable. Place is great and if we didn’t live here we’d stay there all the time.

Had so much fun here, brought the fam up from Florida and it was well worth the drive! The front desk was super helpful for getting checked in and they even delivered my wood for me. 10/10, would go again.

This was one of the best campgrounds I've been to in a while. Though the some of the sites were a little tight just need to do your research. They had everything you want in a campground and more. Super clean and friendly staff. Brought our paddle board they have a small pond perfect for the kids to have some fun. The pool was a little chilly but it was beautiful and perfect for a hot summer day.

Great place to stay! Very friendly staff! I appreciated all the extra variety of pillows. We had plenty of towels and enjoyed relaxing in the rocking chairs on the porch. Pool area had plenty of lounge chairs and they sell snow cones at the pool!

Our stay was great! The staff was super friendly and helpful! Loved the comfy bed and the variety of pillows! Also had plenty of towels! Felt very safe, the location is conveniently located to everything and we really enjoyed the porch rocking chairs and cute table in front of our room!
