Little Chief hates going to the vet, so we tried a new place, and what a great decision! Dr G. and her staff were amazing. The office manager was exceptionally helpful and nice. Chief will not have anymore issues going to the vet in the future.

Amazing experience! Recently added a new family member to our family and called deer run to a last minute exam before he flew back home. They were so kind and friendly on the phone, and squeezed us in to come in the next day. Dr G was so kind and gently to our new puppy and so kind to me and my kids learning how to be new care takers of our puppy. She let us ask her a million questions and didn’t rush us at all! Have our new puppy a thorough exam and I feel so comfortable bringing her home! I can’t say enough great thing about this location! If you love your animal you will bring them to Dr g for the highest level of care.

I recently took my Cane Corso, “Dris,” to Legacy Veterinary Hospital for his wellness exam, vaccinations, and neutering procedure and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience! Dr. Boyd and her entire staff are absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with professionalism, care, and genuine compassion. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure Dris was comfortable every step of the way. It’s such a blessing to have a high-quality, privately owned veterinary hospital right here in our neighborhood in College Park. You can truly tell they care about both the pets and the community they serve. Thank you, Dr. Boyd, for bringing Legacy Veterinary Hospital to our community, we appreciate you! Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-tier veterinary care.

I brought my dog in for an establishment/kind of sick visit today. Dr. Boyd and her staff were very personable and knowledgeable about my dog's needs. We were provided with a plan on how to move forward. Overall an excellent visit. We will be back.

Dr. Boyd took care of both of my family pups and they LOVED her. I was confident that they would give her and the stuff a run for their money BUT I was pleasantly surprised to see that not only did they handle my pups with care and so much love they managed to keep them calm and earn their trust! Both Andrew and Tia assisted in their care and they were a breath of fresh air! 10/10 best experience ever at the vet!

Deer Run Animal Hospital with the new ownership is exactly the compassionate, clinically sound and affordable quality care that I have been looking for! Dr. Gangadin (aka Dr. G) and her team are wonderful and work so well together and genuinely care about the well-being of every animal that comes through their doors. They treat both dogs and cats with an exceptional level of compassion, patience, and respect, regardless of the situation, pet or level of care needed. What’s also really awesome is they know how to help cats that aren’t necessarily very social. I do a lot of animal rescue work and it is not easy to find a Vet office that knows how to handle tricky cats that may be semi-feral. What truly sets this practice apart is their commitment to high-quality medicine paired with heartfelt empathy from all of their staff. They are also Fear Free Certified so they use the least invasive methods possible to help treat your pet. Whether it’s routine care or a more complex issue, this team goes above and beyond to provide thoughtful, attentive, loving and skilled treatment. It’s rare to find a veterinary office that combines such strong clinical expertise with genuine kindness and this one does it effortlessly. 💕 LOVE Legacy Veterinary Hospital! Dr. Boyd and her staff are fabulous. Everyone was exceptional at every turn. Even after a nail trim and shots, you can see Ophelia Baroness von Floofee loves Dr. Boyd. They were patient with me being a spazzy parent and made sure they treated Ophelia with tenderness so she had a good experience. Andrew was our vet tech, and he took the time to go over options and understand Ophelia's health picture. You can tell that everyone who works there not only loves animals but they also love their work and their boss. I immediately felt like part of their family. We found out new vet.
