These viral desserts are an absolute must-try. They remind me of a croissant mixed with brioche. The dips are also unbelievable with unique flavors. This is the best pastry I’ve had in a while!

Where do I begin? Macamochi is a dream! When you walk into this place you are greeted with music coming from a quaint little record player, a beautiful backdrop on the wall, everything is shaded in pink and just gorgeous although it is quite small. Not many people fit in here at one time so you may have to wait outside if they are busy. The pastries are on full display and are absolutely stunning. They are hanging out for your visual as if they were supermodels. We tried the viral fruit pastries, which were absolutely phenomenal. I got 6 of them and a Macaron. The price was roughly 8-12 per pastry. We got raspberry, lemon, two mango, passion fruit and coffee. Total was $78. They were all out of this world in flavor and presentation. They provided an insulated bag with your order to hold you over on the way home. That's if you don't devour them in your car like we did. Customer service was wonderful. We will absolutely tell EVERYONE and 1000% will return. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous talents with the world MACAMOCHI!

Solid coffee, good food/pastries, and finally a much better environment with the car-free waterfront weekends, so you can actually enjoy sitting outside and not listen and smell the car exhaust the entire time. The only thing I’d recommend is to turn one or two of your car parking spaces into bike parking.

We came in looking for something to cool off with in the heat. The adults had some delicious cold brew, and the owner very kindly made some milkshakes off menu for our kids (which the declared as “best ever”). Would highly recommend.

Michael made us the most delightful coffees based on his recommendation and our preference. He took his time to educate us about the difference in beans and preferable combinations of flavors. Our coffees were incredible!

Didn’t have the food, but for the celiacs, it is all GF. Which I didn’t have on my bingo card when I came to Costa Rica. Apparently the owner is Celiac. We had the espresso martini and it was fantastic!

I have a problem... I can't stop coming here! I happen to live nearby and am obsessed with the crunchy fruits! You can taste the love and freshness, and I don't feel guilty eating them! The owners are family-owned and extremely hospitable. I find myself in there when it's busy explaining the different fillings to other customers while I'm waiting in line for mine 😂. I guess that's what happens when you come here as often as I do!

So excited to come across a coffee roastery in Costa Rica! I’ve been waiting for this! The building is really easy to get to. I was instantly greeted and had two staff members spend probably 15 or so minutes with me talking about their roasts and processes. I own a coffee catering company in Texas so I’m super into this stuff and it was great to talk geeky coffee with people who really know what they’re doing. I even learned quite a bit. I ended up buying three bags of coffee from them and a latte for $76 total. Worth it to take home fresh small batch roasted coffee from the GOAT coffee country! The latte was really good, and we returned the next day for cold brew which I liked even better. 10/10!!

I stumbled upon this place as I was running to catch my NJ transit train--mostly seduced by the smell, ambience, and that I had been dying to try this bread from seeing it all over tiktok. In the hesitance of potentially missing my train, the patrons eating their bread by the door were quick to champion for this spot and encouraged us to go inside and recommended us what to buy. We were met by the kindest owner, who answered our questions and was courteous enough to humor our last minute request to alter our order. You could see the warm and inviting culture his leadership fostered: his staff was comfortable and patient to engage in small talk with us as well. We went outside and had our bread on the bench, and a few bites in, we were already telling curious (and hesitant) people to go inside and that they wouldn't regret it. A full circle moment. Side note, I was pleased to see that they use the highest quality (and my favorite) french butter. Pure serendipity. I wish this place the best of luck. I will be back and I will tell everyone I know and love about it because that is truly the least I could do.

I was passing through Appleton, Wisconsin on a road trip to celebrate my baby girl’s birthday, and as a gluten‑free family, finding a safe birthday cake felt impossible. After several unsuccessful calls, I reached out to Appleton Bundt House with very little hope. Instead, I was greeted by a genuinely kind gentleman who listened, understood our situation, and went above and beyond. Even though gluten‑free cakes normally require 24 hours’ notice, he made an exception and baked one in just two hours—right before closing. When we arrived, we were stunned. I had ordered an 8‑inch cake, but they surprised my daughter with a 10.5‑inch cake as a gift. Their thoughtfulness, generosity, and humanity turned a stressful moment into a beautiful memory for our family. Truly remarkable people.
